FEATURED PROGRAM:
HUMAN RIGHTS TRAININGS & WORKSHOPS

PIAF conducts workshops where communities are introduced to their human rights and how they can seek equality through these rights; especially the right to be free from unfair and unlawful discrimination because they are/or may become HIV-positive.  The training is conducted in a series of Phases which includes workshops and practical applications of the acquired knowledge. Participants that fulfil the requirements of the series of training will be accredited with a Trainers Certificate in HIV Specific Human Rights

The training approach is Transformational, the learning theory is Action Reflection and the contents include: 

  • Human Rights in general
  • The Human Rights Based Approach
  • The Right to Equality
  • The Right to be free from unlawful discrimination
  • The Right to be free from unlawful Stigmatization
  • The Right to Privacy and Confidentiality
