LEGAL ADVICE If you are person living with HIV/AIDS who is seeking legal advice, you can contact the LHRTF via email at lhrtf@pacificaids.org. You can also email the Legal Advice Service Manager. Her name is Anita Jowitt and she is a lecturer in law at the University of the South Pacific. She is based in Vanuatu. All information will be kept confidential. We will not tell anyone else about you unless you give us permission to do so. If your matter is complex, or might involve going to court, we will refer you to a lawyer in your country who you can go to see for help. All lawyers that we refer you to have received training on HIV issues and are “PLWHA friendly”. If you are seeking advice or information about HIV and the law in the Pacific but are not a person living with HIV/AIDS, we will help you as much as we can.
